Sometimes if I go to the pub by myself, I'll put this on the jukebox four or five times in a row.
People get pretty sour by the third time round.

Deadly, you and I appear to have very similar tastes...

I defy anyone not to be moved by this track.

Orbital - Out There Somewhere (parts one and two, a combined 24 minutes, if that ain't epic I don't know what is)

Stunning tune.

Just a couple of my favourites, then there was Nitrous, Son of Nitrous, The Nine, Torpedo... Jesus the list just goes on and on. Bad Company = Drum and Bass. For me, they came along and ripped the scene to shreds. Still the baddest IMO.

Man I should stop there before I get carried away :D

Definitely a sweet track, was one of the first I heard by Rusko and was like "dayum Rusko's the man yo!" Later on realized none of his other shit is really like it. :?

On topic:

One of the most epic bands ever, I daresay.
Youtube compression really batters Tool songs though, The Patient sounds much better than that :|

Love Pattons stuff, especially his stuff with Mr. Bungle. Unfortunately no one on youtube has a hq version.

Classic. As an aside, Orbital is one act I never got a chance to see in my party every weekend days. And that was like a decade ago. The best act I ever saw live was Spacemen or Rabbit in the Moon, maybe it would be Squarepusher but the crowd was awful, too much pushing. Future Fest 1999 in Atlanta GA was the best show I went to. But it's been a really long time since I went to anything bigger than a club night. My last outing was Excision @ Smartbar in Chicago. It was disappointing in only seeing 200 or so people, I did the "pack as many people as we can before the cops show up" shows, but it was an excellent crowd, and a good show. Deadmau5 was the worst I ever saw, not a great show, bad venue, and some sack of shit decided to use my shoulders as a support to jump up and down. I'm a nonviolent guy but he landed neck first on a fist full of my keys, he was that much of an asshole, "please stop" 5 times wasn't enough, and only escalated his shitty attitude.

One of the greatest trance songs ever. It may be old but I still enjoy it just as much as I did the first time I heard it. I was really into house before I ever started listening to trance music, and this song was the main reason that trance very quickly became one of my favorite genres.
