After the untimely passing of Ben ‘Bracket’ Brydon in April 2009, we got together to pay tribute to him in the most fitting way possible, by creating a not-for-profit label that showcases some of the incredible music that he made. There are three of Ben’s tracks on this release, all proper stormers. 'Troubleshooter' is a remix of a track called 'Yellowcore' by Troubleshooter (aka Rob Holloway) which is out on Scanone's Yellow Machines label. Ben takes the already seriously heavy original track and absolutely raves it up, nicking the riff from 'The Bouncer' and putting a big chunk of sub bass power in there. 'Grime3' is a warping, weaving bassline bubbler that growls along and sounds incredible on a big rig; play loud for maximum effect! The A side is given over to the twisted acid breakbeat monster 'Reunion One', a club destroyer par excellence. Part wonky acid, part ravey stab mania, the cockney samples about having 'no respect for the old school' are extremely fitting!
