Never seen them live but since they have switched to cdj's never heard them do a bad mix on radio or on recorded live sets. Its all been spot on beat-matching.

They get mashed of course, but they play a set to get mashed too. Its how it works really.

as a promoter this is a nightmare though really! They are super expensive and could ruin the reputation of dubstep in a new audience country if they get the bad side of a "50/50"! I guess the trick could be to give them an early set and promise them all the booze and girls they desire afterwards!

yeah, i actually like it better when their on the cdj's, they have tons more exclusives now that they can take anywhere

not gonna have to worry which cuts to bring across country

I don't mean the warm up set.. just more like 1am instead of 3am... that can be the difference between good performance and pissed up!

dude you went to hard nyc.... urb mag ripped apart the show, im not surprised. theres mad kids in the US (kids, 15-18) that looooove sweet shop and shit. hard nyc is that type of show.

skream and mala at dub war was the truth. awesome set, still some sweet-shop-ish stuff going on, but overall awesome vibe, performance, tunes, etc...

skipping the high profile events is generally a good idea, also 21+. the ex-hardcore/emo, moshing/mashing kiddie crowds can really ruin the show.

Exactly both are shit tracks lol. Actually Innocence is okay but not really my cup of tea.

complain all you like. skream was obviously having a good time and what ever he did to 12th planet concerning his "records" definatley wouldn't have been to ruin it for him & every video i've seen of HARD seems like it's going off and his mixing sounds fine to me. i think this thread is stupid and pointless. skream a legend, end of... drunk or not, i'll still watch him live, from start to finish - my past experiences have only been good

i can almost garantee that benga is bored of sweet shop, as a song... but i think he knows it'll get the crowd going crazy, so in that sense he is using it as a "tool" to work the crowd. i dont like either of these two tunes... but they gets the crowd going. if i was djing infront of that many people, i'd happily drop something similiar to sweet shop, JUST for the crowd response, i dont think anything can beat the feeling of a crowd going ape shit to the music you're playing

Did I just catch him on a bad night or is he usually a terrible performer?
I thought the exact same thing. He's obviously a boss why does he have to act like that
