Think there's a new Komplete every summer, no? It doesn't necessarily mean a major version update for all/any of the products.

Yeah, but all your elves have been busy. Look at all the shit included in this? 5 had all the old shit, 6 they cut the old shit, did little mods to the keepers, and now they've dumped a shit tun of content into the mix. Reaktor and kontakt really benefiting from this release.

That's quite a step up from the last one which I could've saved myself from getting if had held out for a could more months. The problem with this is I reckon 3 months down the line they'll put reaktor 6 out.

Also now they're including a load of sound packs...I don't suppose there's any compensation for those of use who have already paid for some of them :(

Wow Alot of great stuff. Might be too hard to resist this one.

Most of the sound demos for 'laserbass' are dubstep tunes!

I tried laser bass, didn't really like it. Just ran some notes through it and fiddled some knobs, but everything sounded kind of meh, to the max.

Lemme see if I can listen to one of those demos.

Good Lord, that does look sick...

Already have Massive and Kontakt 3, but if I do go for my Mac (still undecided) then this bad boy will also be heavily considered.

I still haven't scratched the surface of what I can do with Komplete 5!

One question - if I update would it remove (for example) Pro-53 which is not supported now?

RammFire looks GREAT! And so do the reaktor Esembles, I don't think theres a hell out a lot there, i just think once you've bought 1 version of Komplete you don't really HAVE to upgrade cause you got everything you need for at least 5 years.

ANd nah you won't lose Pro 53 it just won't be updated.

I doubt that strongly?

Do you use that, though? Never got into that sound at all.

Aw jeez.

I've used a lot of synths, and rendered out a bit from demoing a lot of them, and I've used all those bits in one way or another, but never, not even a millisecond of pro53 has made it into anything! It sounds like very early (bad) vst. Ah, but I've been wrong about everything I've ever thought, so who knows?
