Basically the premise for our battle was to make the most piss-take cliche dubstep track with a few changes here and there, just for kicks. What do you say?

tbh I was thinking the last day or so its actually surprising that folks haven't organized some kind of filthiest drop contest seeing as so many producers are into that kinda thing

edit: well.. with their own tunes. not what they found on youtube.. there's plenty of those fucking things around here

Tunes fights are about make the other person look stupid by hammering them with your production skills and coming out with a banger
Totally disagree.
Then youre an idiot
I know where this is headed.

Look, I've got a kid, and I've been developing some parenting skills. When something obviously entertaining and potentially negative or harmful happens, the best approach isn't to put up a bunch of rules around it, but merely suffer momentarily with some ill behavior, let the energy of the event pass, and move on to more beneficial activities.

This is the first toon fight in, since dza's isn't it? That was a long time ago. If there is a spasm of toon fights right now, no one will be all that interested, and this tactic will prove not to be an effective form of e-promotion, and will stop.

Until the specter of ugly ugly beef again rears it's ugly ugly beefy head.

Anybody that toon fights now is just going to look like a dumb ass and is going to be relentlessly ridiculed. No one wants that kind of e-xposure.

We've started nearly every meme in production and encoraged every tune fight prior to this recent reincarnation?

Less rules > More rules

Tune fights are funny, this is only the second one in like 2 years, and my only thought is - there should be something at stake - ie: loser has to put in their sig they lost against someone, or something humiliating.

That could work ^

but we can't call it tune battle we have to call it something else, cause otherwise what'll happen when you need to beef someone?
