David Icke has a huge catalogue of books, and DVDs, his own website which accepts 'donations' because he 'generously subsideses' the website. There's many affiliations he has selling other conspiracy stuff even training courses on how to make these waste videos. He's capitalizing on people gullible enough to believe his dross, and even trying to get them to do the same! That seems pretty low as someone who's trying to spread this terrible truth he claims to be real (and I'd imagine critisizes capitalism heavily). I'd be interested to know if he's deluded himself into believing the things he says, or whether he goes home laughing every day with your money.

Do the US have a website like Companies House? I'd love to see his accounts.

Nobody's putting a gun to anybody's head telling them to drink Coca Cola or sign up to social networking websites either, yet some people still reckon they're the antichrist. David Icke is a charlatan. He knowingly makes money from dissolutioned people in the same way that the Church of Scientology or Heroin dealers do. I am perfectly happy for him to sell his snake oil, but I'm not going to struggle too hard to contain my laughter if somebody promotes it all over the place.

If someone joined and posted as many threads about Christianity or Islam, mocking those who disagree as "retarded" or "cretins" (Parson's favourite), as people do about Lizardmen they'd end up getting banned for religious trolling, yet they'd have about the same amount of cold, hard evidence as fully fledged David Icke fans do for their beliefs. The sad thing is that David Icke has some really sensible things to say... man's been on a quest for fame and fortune ever since his football career went down the pan and the BBC dropped him. Can't knock the hustle.

He makes and sells books, records DVDs and holds sell out shows at Brixton Academy that promote ideas and theories, largely based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever, as if they were the "truth". He is a painted Messiah selling tap water as holy to the depressed masses... and just as Gillian McKeith (not a) PhD can be allowed to make millions from her TV shows and books as long as we can publically pillory her at every given opportunity... David Icke is also perfectly fair game.

Whilst It's an interesting discussion on both sides, what ruins things for me is Parsons air of superiority over others,
whilst I have no beef with Parson and I'm sure he's a really nice person once off his chosen topics, it's the slight edge of
intolerance and subtle sneering in his posts. Maybe I am possibly reading too much into it.

This is a shame because that intolerance to other peoples opinions makes him just as culpable as those he seeks to debunk.

It needs an attitude change, the interpersonal skills are at a very low threshold.

I think you might be reading too little into it. There's nothing slight nor subtle about his intolerance and sneering. It'd make for more interesting discussion if it weren't always sermons or pronouncements from on high.
