Sorry but that's not a good idea imo, there will only arise dicussions about who will decide who can enter.
I agree that that are too little votes, but imo it's all about competing.

Agree, it's not really about winning

Plus, whoever is destined to win will no doubt win no matter how many votes there are. If you win good for you, if you got a few votes but didn't win then equally good for you. If you have no votes then better luck next time. Having a load more people vote in the comp isn't going to change any of these outcomes, what shall be will be...or some crap like that.

Yeah and this too, totally agree. But you gotta agree that it would be nice to have more people following these and voting. Alot of tracks have 70 + plays, and yes i am aware of the fact that one needs to listen more that once to make his vote, and there only like a total of 30 votes. But whatever it's good how it is :)

I thinkn being able to vote for mutiple tracks would help, it's just hard to choose. And also direct voting in soundcloud would be cool.

i was really determined to be a good voter and listen to all the tracks before i voted. i made a point of not looking at the votes so far. i did everything i could to avoid voting for the song that was already winning.

i voted for the song that was already winning.

tbh, whenever i have entered the competition the same issues always arise out of play counts, number of votes and entrances, and its always the best tune that wins.

As suggested, maybe voting on soundcloud would allow for a wider audience to vote? people need to be registered here or there anyway, but surely something to look at. As far as i know, my granma has no soundcloud account yet, though.

Looks like the tune that has been sneaking up in second place has finally taken over! What a tense comp...shame I didn't do so well in it myself though XD

Looks like 'Drinking Dirty Water' has won! Does voting close at midnight tonight? I'm intrigued to find out who made the winning track.

I got 0 votes. Fail :\

Thanks for the review guys! My tune was 'Best Shot'.

@dav.id: thanks bro! you can tell most of the work was put in the drums, second to arrangement/buildup
@HAACK: kind words! jakes' def. influential in my style
@gorbek: your right, my tune sounded standard, 14 days really didn't give me much time. tbh I spent the least time on that wobble
@beldragim: second to the wobble I spent the least amount of time on that melody, that's why all I came up with was the arpeg. and reverse arpeg. LOL. The fade out was there because I went over the 3 min. limit. And for the sub, was just a standard adjustment on the envelope and low-pass filter, then split into 3 parts, standard thump, pitch envelope up, and pitch envelope down and messed around with the attack/release
@alphacat: your right, originality wasn't at it's finest but that's why the tune was bearable.
@NRHc: glad I was top 2!

I'd say another 2 weeks, I would add a little more originality to my tune. Wobble was standard, arpeggd melody was half-assed, and more work could have been put on buildup/arrangement/mix-down. Thanks for the reviews!!

btw: some reeeaally quality tunes on this. My vote went to HardKoa. It was a pleasure to listen to, it had the essential dubstep elements, and production was top-notch.
