Re: WORKS IN PROGRESS FOR AUGUST, 2010
@drummerpig - I really like your pads, but the stab with the delay seems a bit out of place for me? But the wobble is nice not too overpowering and has a nice rhythm to it (Y)
@olux - Like the dubby vibes in the intro with the sub and the vox very nice. The wobble bass is huge and really nice keeps a good feel to it. Liking this track.
@deniss - Like the synth in the intro with a nice bend to it. The lead coming is really entrancing as well. The vox fit in really well. Nice skanky percussion. The fact that you didn't do a massive wobbly drop is nice as well as it gives a false sense. I like this very much (Y) Good job.
@*Gasp* - Nice powerful sub, but I think it clipped a bit, maybe look at that... but ignoring that it was a nice feel to it.
My turn:

P.S. It hasn't been mixed much

@tripwire
I really like where thats going, the intro is deep, moody and atmospheric, however I reckon you need something to drag it into the drop. I like the bass, but not sure about the snares. I think the reversing might be a bit over the top, but just play around with it, see what comes out
@4trak
feelin the main bass sound in this man, sounds so natural
@Olux
sounds bangin so far mate, love it when bongos come in too! finish it off!

@Bryzergold Good tune so far. The only thing I would say is that I think you should use a different snare.
@Jstick Like it a lot. Awesome sample and drop. Jason's lines are way too low for everything else going on in the track though. Maybe bring his parts up a bit and leave the other as is, otherwise his parts get drowned out.
@ogunslinger Next time leave some feedback first. My advice for your track is to clean up the wobble automation. It seems off at times. Make the drop bigger. Add some random percussion on the offbeat to fill in the gaps. I know you just started the track but it has potential. Experiment.
And thanks to those who left me feedback, It def helps.

Re: WORKS IN PROGRESS FOR AUGUST, 2010
@ogunslinger Wobbles sound really on the beat and there's no swing or groove at all. to quote my jazz band director you sound like a white boy outta sleepy hollow. http://www.sleepy-hollow.il.us/ (for a reference) no matter how "dirty" your bass lines are this is DUBstep. there's gotta be groove or else nobody dances. I like a lot of the ideas in there though definitely worth pursuing. And ya the drop sneaked in there, especially for the kind of tune you're going for work to make that drop huge.
and for your listenening pleasure something i've been dicking around with:

@ Loud Flavour - Nice tune man, liking the wobbles and the breakdown is nice. maybe add a couple more trancy leads to carry it a bit and keep it interesting, other than that sounding cool.
@ HiMi - Really cool build at the start and nice drop, really interesting track, sounds wicked. I think the bass is a bit loud, for me it sounded a bit muddy, only really eq issues i'm hearing, everyting else was really cool, love your style.
@ Mr Ooze - liking the vox, the snare sounds a bit thin to me at the moment, maybe add a clap behind to make it a bit fuller. Nice chilled out track.
This is something i've only started today so it aint long.. All feedback appreciated

@KingNoble Thanks!
Re: WORKS IN PROGRESS FOR AUGUST, 2010
Here's my second dubstep track so far...
Better than my first one at least...
Needs more mixing and i think tha kick and base are interfering a little too.

tripwire22 - the chemical plant track is dope, the bass swells in the middle section is well nice, only crit i'd give it is get rid of that fruitty snare that you got out of the hip hop kit n replace it with a nicer snare but thas just my personal preff. The mix down is clean but i'd try get some more dynamic in there and try sort of the stereo imaging
RightOnTime27 - i like your track alot, think all it needs is a fuller sounding mixdown but thas ovs gonna be sorted out
mr_ooze - love the intro! I think after the intro tho it all goes a bit wierd, I think you should work on the mid bass sound n probs add a bit more subtly to at the mo its kindas big and intrusive - but saying that maybe thats what you went for so its just personal pref i geuss.
> This is a track I'm working on for my album, I kinda didn't wanna leak any info at all but I can't commit. The track needs ALOT of work but hopefully you can see the potential
