I don't really like David Gray at all, but you don't have any right to tell him not to cover a song. Especially as you haven't heard his rendition yet. And so what if it is bad?
Whoever created this petition needs to hop off Burial's dick. If Burial doesn't want his song to be covered, he can speak for himself. He doesn't need internet hero worshippers to defend him.
Ridiculous people.
I swear Cyrus did this? if so youre sayin Cyrus is on Burial's dick? bad move my friend
if you click on his myspace links etc. i think you will find it is not cyrus, its some dude whose name is cyrus
What a prick.
Ahh fair enough i did wonder why Cyrus would care and i think Xavy might be a homosexual, he keeps talking about dicks

Cheers to anyone who's taken the time to sign this. Needless to say it's not a cause that's going to take over my life - was more a way of putting off starting work on Friday than anything else - but I do feel pretty passionately that David Gray should step off such a monumental tune. And yes, my name is Cyrus, but no, not that Cyrus.

Meh doesnt deserve a petition imo,
Great look for the dubstep community as a whole (#Sarcasm), totally gunning the shit out of something which
1)Hasnt even been made yet
2)Will have no implications on the scene
3)Is trying to do something different (much like Burial)
I for one am intrigued to hear this, not a David Grey fan however im not gonna be as shortsighted to flame the idea. Music's music however someone chooses to express it.
Out of all artists to perform an acoustic cover of, Burial is the first one that springs to mind.
Were keeping an open mind

Who gives a fuck? The original is great and nothing is ever gonna take that away. Let people do all the crappy covers/remixes they want... it's not like this is a new practice. Shit, theres a dubstep remix on every pop single nowadays, so why not do the reverse?
Wasting time on a petition over something so trivial is nonsense.

if you want to petition against bad music, go start a 'down with x-factor' petition instead of crying over one particular song that doesnt even exist yet and you wont have to listen to it when/if it is made
what a dumb topic

I think Gary Barlow is the only man qualified to make a decent cover version of Archangel. IMO.

David Gray can pitch shift his own vocals by doing that shakey head thing that he does.

Ridiculous people.
Especially ridiculous given that everything in Archangel is already "borrowed" from somewhere or other. HELLO:
