this album was just incredible. big ups to skream for the range in this album. there are not to many producers who can reach so many different styles and still be comfortaable with themselves

its hit and miss in my opinion

Hit:
Perforated (lovely little intro)
Where you should be (quite like it, blissful)
Fields of Emotion
Listening to the records
Wibbler (classic dance killer)
A song for Lenny (another nice little soundscape)

Miss:
8 Bit Baby ft. Murs (murs is shit, i remember hearing the instrumental on joe nice's show and loved it, completely ruined imo)
CPU (never been a fan of computerised stuff, hated Kraftwerk, hate this)
How Real (too cheesy for me, vocal doesn't fit the beat)
I Love the way (not bad, but not great)
Metamorphosis (" , ")
Finally (aww man this is poor)
Epic Last Song (definitely not epic, just 5 minutes of amen breaks and cheesy synth)

There are very few albums I've ever bought which I've liked 75% or more of the tracks on, this one's about 50-50, so worth getting, but not amazing, and definitely not timeless... :D:
My recorded all vinyl mixes are here...

i agree with the majority of this post, but for me its more 60-40 ish. dont agree the tracks in red are a miss tho...

"I Love the way" is a nice tune with a bit of depth. the vocals have got power in them. more importantly the tune has a good memory attached to it for me, when skream played it back at one of the FWD vs Rinse nights at the end about 2 years ago....was genuinely epic lol.

as for the "Epic Last Song", ye it is a bit simple but its got good energy. not as much of a "miss" as the others in that list.

also CPU im on the fence with because the second half of the song is quite good. it does start of a bit wierdly but it grows on you lol.

thing with this album is you got to slightly listen to it from a mainstream perspective because thats where this could go. sure its not really out right pop or commercial but alot of the tracks are quite accessable and can have that appeal to the mainstream audience. id say a good handful of tunes on this album could sit well with any pop tune. the others not so much so but still some good pieces of music there on a different tip. all in all id say about 75% of this album is enjoyable, it just depends on how far you can enjoy the more pop-ish side.
