August sees our podcast series return for its second installment with 90 minutes of seriously high quality music presented by our very own Duskky and Hurtdeer. Heading the charge is Sam's Myth, part of the Norwich-based Junglist crew Amen-Tal and a killer DJ and producer in his own right. After seeing him play at our own night in March, we had to ask him for a recorded contribution. He's provided us with 45 minutes of no-nonsense jungle mashup business, featuring Amen-Tal dubs from their forthcoming compilation (keep locked to their website for news), alongside tried and tested dancefloor killers.
Backing Sam up is our very own Duskky, with a mix in promotion of his recent LP release on the Acroplane netlabel. The release, available for free from Acroplane.org, showcases the real breadth and depth of Duskky's highly developed breaks'n'bass style. This mix is no different, covering impressive ground with tracks from Second Line and wAgAwAgA alongside those of the man himself. Rounding off the podcast is a selection of unreleased dubs from Mothers producers, to give you a taste of what we're capable of - this time there are sounds from Macka, Hurtdeer and [Insert Gore].
