it was aiiite.. we missed about half an hour of Elijah & Skilliam, turned up for the first rinse out of Street Fighter by D Double.. bass was sounding hard throughout tho, i personally thought Zinc had his shit a bit too loud, i know some people are gonna say its never too loud, but fuck.. maybe i was too near the air conditioned/sub bass holes in the wall lol

it was aite tho, Kode9 and Kryptic Minds next week will be the one tho!

Thought it was shite.

Did security really need to go into peoples wallets and everything? They even took my rizla off me. That's why there was a big queue. Took us hours to get in and we arrived at 9:40 with only a small queue ahead of us. No drinking in the queue aswell lol. By the time we got in we'd missed Ellijah and Skilliam.

Plus security everywhere on the dancefloor staring people out and barging through.


Gonna be giving plastic people a wide berth until they sort their shit out, because there were no vibes in there for me. I'm hoping they're only this stressed because they've just reopened, and after a while they'll relax again.


Edit: forgot to mention that there was nothing wrong with the sets or the soundsystem, that was all gud.

security was definitely over the top,
they took my rizzla as well and i also missed elijah & skilliam's set having got there early.
they had to beef up security a lot because of the problem's with the council i assume so it may be like that permenantly.

brackles played a sick set though and the new system is incredible.
will defintely be at the next fwd though,

its true say actually, security was mega over the top, they tried to say my 20 pound note was fake when i was paying my fee.. and it was a par gettin there like half 9 las was said and not gettin in til like 10 past 11, not a good look at all.. goin through peoples wallets was a bit much, lucky i wasnt carrying my Heroin Card, just my rileys membership, phew.

Hours to get in? Searching wallets? Bundles of security? Accusations of fake notes? Sounds fucking awful. I'm sure from a musical perspective it was top notch but everything else sounds like the sort of nights I try to avoid. Total opposite of what FWD>> is about really.

its expected tho, the club used to get smoked the fuck out towards the end lol. i remember one night where everyone around me was sparking up spliffs and it got so bad that crazy d had to stop the music to tell everyone to calm down cos police were coming lol.

by the sounds of things it sounds like u wont be able to smoke a spliff in there anymore (well not so easily anyways), which is a shame but i suppose the crowd kind of took the piss in the end.

yea, im sure theres more cameras now aswell.. we was there one time, my mate was rolling up, security guy came over, not aggy at all told him the cameras were watching so allow it, and he just didnt, kept on rolling.. he was being nice tho, just warning him, so you're right, the punters took the piss out of a casual evioronment and thats why it is what it is now.. everyone always asks me if i know anyone doin pills like i look like some fucking meow goafer.
