I dont know about dubstep (although i think its the "best" electronic music to toke to...) but for dnb I know here in brussels youll see the whole spectrum of drugs when checkin out a dnb party...
But if you go to germany, the drug useage is WAY less then in brussels.

So I guess its not the music after all, its the people ;)

that true,
many peops i know that take pills @ a dnb rave just smoke and drink @ a dubstep party and there is much more atmosphere at those, a good thing i think...

With the "spacious" sounds, delays, large bass, percussive echoes prominent in dubstep, it shoud've been called Drug-Step

In fact I'm in the process of writing the first Drug-Step tune...
breaking boundaries ftw :P

Only been to a few dubstep nights so can't really comment on drugs in them, apart from the fact that Plastic People has little enough toilet cubicles as it is, I dont want to be fucking waiting 5-10 minutes for a piss cos of cokeheads labourisly chopping up lines.

I've took E's in Techno nights, and I have to say that Class A's lower the tone of a club something shocking. even while I've stood there chewing my beak off I've thought to myself, this isn't quite right. cos people wiped out are a fucking disgrace most of the time, goldfish memory span, pupils so big they look like they're shit scared, and people barely able to communicate (let alone piss!).

When I hear about people saying how pills changed their life in the late 80's/ early 90's I laugh. even factoring in the amount of shit they put in modern pills, I find it very hard to believe that the original rave scene was much less seedier than people wiped out today. They have little self-control, they don't dance (you thought Grime was bad!), and just talking to them is sinister.

The good thing about alcohol is that most people know when to stop. With E's you're just getting loads of people asking "do you know anyone who sells pills?", even though they've already took 7.

nearly every1 danced back then even when they were walking round the club with big smiles on their faces
we took E at first not a smack/speed/acid blend
an E cost £15 so it was a while before people were necking loads - you didnt need to anyway

is people asking for E such a bother?
it saddens me more seeing the beggars every morning with an open tin of specialbrew in their top pocket/hand asking for cash

Each to their own, how can anyone tell anyone else how to enjoy a dubstep night?

I don't smoke bud, you expect me to start because it's the dubsteppers way? I don't bean either, but I know people who do and it's usually because they don't want to get kicked out.

What's baiter:

a. Popping a pill in a club and raving. Unless you take 10, you're not necessarily gonna gurn your nuts off are you?

b. Sparking up a zoot and smoking it until it goes out?

Allow risking being kicked out of a club for any reason IMO, but whatever people feel to do ennit.

Have you ever tried waiting in line for the loo at FWD? To say half the people there aren't hoovering up charlie would be an understatement.

I recall one notable DJ who posts on this very forum, spending a good twenty minutes in there. Still, I can't complain. The messy bastard left shitloads of the stuff on the toilet unit...
