Splitting Production forum
I know it's probably not all that taxing yet but it might be a good idea to split the production section into two parts. One being the production questions, techniques, tips, etc and the other being the "Check my tune," "Here's my tune" etc...
It's pretty easy to sift through now but eventually due to the mass of threads this might have done. Simular to DOA's Grid vs Tune showcase. Easier to navigate through.
call me crazy but I think it's a good idea.

*bump* This is a really good idea. The forum is starting to get pretty busy as it gets more popular, and it's getting trickier to track releases and mixes without sleeping on the reload button all day.Shonky wrote:I'd prefer it if audio was split into mixes and tunes. There seem to be more dj's than producers so a lot of new stuff disappears down the forum without trace.

There's so much awesome coming out of this forum, it leaves no mind unblown.
My suggestions is splitting Audio into two forums:
Audio - Mixes and Audio - Tracks, with the second for posting releases by "local" artists.
Well, it makes sense. And then allowing small unfinished twiddles and audio sketches to be posted in the production forum.

Mentioned it to Boom the other week - it's going to get brought up at the next special secret moderator meeting once they've had their fill of crack and exotic hookersUnempty wrote:Any word from admins on this?
