Breakage appreciation thread

Post by Input_1 » Mon Aug 23, 2010 4:08 pm

It's about time one of these cropped up.

Foundation is arguably the best dubstep/ dnb album of 2010.
Such a low sub paired with his signature rolling hats makes such a sick vibe!

saw him and shy fx in Edinburgh on friday, dont get me wrong they both absolute smashed it but when they werent playing they both just sat at the side on their iphones tweeting each other being proper un-social. then when the resident dj who's last ever gig it was laptop crashed they both sat there creasing themselves at him which i felt was rather wide. and to top it off shy got in a fight on stage with another dj and the mc, i know its fuck all to do with me, just seemed pretty unprofesional.

I've enjoyed the few times I've seen Breakage. It was funny seeing him spark up inside the tents, no officials said shit. Bigup.

Yep. Biggup Breakage. Listening to his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix from earlier this year atm. Too sick how he uses Amen Brother... into some of his own jungle madness. Damn man. Please come back to TX soon.

Hit and Run?

Yeah it was a let down, some of the djs need to realise it isn't a hype night and they can play what they want
I'd have got a 15 year old with a laptop and big ego to drop doctor p for free if i wanted it playing.

Hit and Run is a big night though, huge props to Rich.. can always count on a top night!

You expect the DJ to start conversing with a crowd of people in a LOUD music venue before/after their set?

They're the visiting guest, and if they're not playing, you entertain them, tell them how well their set was, ask questions, get a photo, buy a drink etc.

Was chattin to him at mint in leeds a while back and was a nice guy just wandering round by himself, happy to chat bout his set and his music for a while. Was wearing a 'im a deep pan, your a thin crust' t-shirt, dont know if they ever came out.

Mans sub-bass is incredible and makes some top draw stuff, but also some weird stuff like the sidney samson remix, i fucking hate that song so much
