Some of you obviously haven't had any good British food. We make some of the best cheeses in the world, best sausages, English strawberries are said to be the best in the world as our climate is perfect for their growth, Aberdeen Angus Beef, Dexter Beef, Welsh Lamb, Craester Kippers, Lindisfarne Oysters, wild salmon, wild trout, Pie Minster Pies, Devon Lemon Sole, Cod from the North Sea, Scottish smoked salmon, some curry dishes (Balti is said to be British), and even some Chinese dishes, blah blah, blah etc. There's SHIT loads of amazing British food you just haven't had it.

Then there's our beers, ales, porters, stouts, spirits, fortified wines... all world famous! Newcastle Brown Ale is more popular in America and Australia than it is here!!

Fucking philistines.

my mates fam does a nice goan curry but I still prefer a commercial chicken tikka masala from the curryhouse down the road
i've been to so-called good places and for me they all struggled to even hit average. no surprise you prefer the commercial tikka dish as that kinda stuff is tailored to the english palette.

Nah, i prefer other stuff to a tikka masala, but you cant deny that tikka masala is a peng dish. I couldnt give a shit if it aint authentic or not, some of the mild stuff is fucking delicious.

Agreed

Being british is about turning on sky 3 on a wednesday night to watch "night cops 2" and going "yeah, paying all those taxes to put policemen in northern city centres on a friday night to arrest drunk slags for my viewing pleasure was totally worth it"

You obviously haven't laid down the law with your friends. You need to let them know that your food is not their food. I fucking hate sharing food, like really hate it, it makes me angry.
