Here at HYP? we are very excited to welcome the return one of our favourite electronic acts to the Sub Club's DJ booth. Having made their Scottish debut at HYP? in December 2008 alongside the legendary DJ Craze, Benni G & Plus One aka Jack Beats have seen their profiles soar and their fan base grow like never before. Having made their names as part of world renowned turntablist crews Scratch Perverts and The Mixologists, they joined forces to take their all action, bass heavy electronic house sound to the masses. Having exploded into our collective consciousness with their remix of AC Slater's 'Jack Got Jacked', a bonafide modern dance floor classic, they continued to keep our fists pumping with remixes of anyone worth their salt in modern club music. Frenzied reworkings of Fake Blood, Florence & The Machine, Diplo & Kissy Sellout as well as their massive 'UFO - K-Hole Riddim' and 'Out Of Body' for Herve's Cheap Thrills label, have secured theit status as one of the most exciting and popular production duos working today.
Joining Jack Beats will be German party starter Malente, making his Sub Club debut and bringing his unique sound to Scotland's best club. Having made his name in the electro breaks scene in the mid noughties, Malente has went on to confirm his name as one of the most diverse and original producers in club music in recent years. Recent collaborations with Azzido Da Bass and fellow German Dex as well as releases for Southern Fried and A-Trak's Fools Gold label have sene his name in lights and he continues to grow in stature with each dance floor smashing beat he drops.
Backing up the special guest is new Mixed Bizness residential DJ dynamo MGCK, bringing his well heard noise to the masses before the exotic guests prove their worth....
