Hey what's up dudes...

Yo nibzdub- I enjoyed your track, i would advise you to change up the melody/wobbles halfway through in order to keep it interesting. Just whatever you can do to keep it clever... I use reason too, so its rad to hear what other homies produce using that annoying ass program.. If you have some time, check out my new song, under the name: beastmode activate, on soundcloud, or just page 18 in this topic.... i made that with reason too. Coolio

What up supermotorr, your track is pretty chill all the way through. I like your sound that you have going, and maybe you could change the drums up a lil bit to make it a tad more interesting.

Hey breadman, hit me up on facebook, search Joey Whynaught and i'll send you my track(or just write down your email) Ya man, im fuckin stoked that someone enjoyed it!

@paravrais - Dude, this jam is so chilled. It's like no-one wants to make low end shit anymore, its all mid range angry wobbles of "I-hate-you" ness.(Which I am very guilty of). But this is sweet man! I would suggest bringing out your mids slightly though and put some sounds floating in the higher range to give it more etherealness. Shyte. I am talking out mah arse. this tracks killer as is dude. Sorry man.

@Jstick - That song looks like it is brick wall limiting man. Sick composition. Try layering your wobble to give it a bit more strength and see if you can't aggravate the drums a bit more. Make em punch harder than a blue waffled lady has been punched. I think just the kick needs more punch, that snares phat. Sick track though man.

@kaiori breathe - I am fucking loving this! Downloaded man. Instant fucking A on this dude. Jissis. Any chance of 320's?

Well, heres my jam. Mixing, I think, is a bit harsh(high on the high ends). I'm sending off an un-mastered version to someone else for mastering :

@zonetrooper: "Groove." At the moment, the tune lacks a bit of depth in my opinion mate. Try layering up the drums and lose a bit of the reverb to give them a bit more of a punch, and the synth is to heavy but sounds a bit underdeveloped, definetly needs a bit of variation. The whole track is full of good ideas though, and you've used some decent samples, the track just needs a bit more development.

@brownz: "nibiru:" Like this tune alot mate. Nice murky sounds mate, not too heavy. Synths could use a little bit of work, but other than that you got a decent track here. Drums got a nice groove to them too.

@ paravrais: "Dry Ice:" Really enjoying this one mate. Not really my sort of dubstep to be honest, but Im still feeling it. Youve got some great percussion and drums there and the mixdown has been done really well, gotta nice crisp sound. Not sure about the synth that comes in about 2.45, might need a bit of work to make it sound a bit more "real" if that makes sense?

Hope my comments were helpful, although now you all probably think Im a tnuc LOL. Here's my newset tune, its a bit heavy, for those of you that dont like that sort of stuff, but feedback would still be appreciated.

Cheers

I know ive done this a few times now lol but just went over the your not alone remix again, 320 d/l.

Will edit in thoughts as i listen. cheers for checking my tunes out

Ponte ricky/ Nice vibes on this one. bassline is cool nice drive n groove. good sounds in here, some of the synths are a little flat but tis all sounding pretty good.

John Neenan/ This is a nice tune. Sounds really well produced. some sick sounds, bassline is heavy. Percussion switches up nicely. Nice work 320 up for d/l?

Phizicist/ This is a tidy tune. High are a lil sharp i do that n all lol. nice sounds. Basslines are heavy. Plenty of lows n n glitch. synths are cool. Lil mid mud, structure is good. again will there be a 320 up for d/l?

@john Neenan
your intro is dark and suspense building, feelin the b lines, the break that comes in is nice, cool fx too. i would have liked a lil more percussion to pick up the pace and give it a counter rythm. good production skills man.

@ Fassyman
Brass Knuckles; This has a nice stoned vibe to it. not too complex but has a really cool, chilled feel with a touch of epic. it could be filled with a few more lead sounds and fx... but that might contradict the chill factor!!
Ritual Dub; likin the really organic, shamanistic samples in the intro and track,nice spacial percussion too. coooool

@Ponte ricky
This is nice and different, like the slightly psychedelic-dub sound with a ravey jungle feel. good intro and breakdown too.

@Ratrace
I like how you wrote this man cool bass and synth sounds. nice compositon but the mix sounds a lil killed (i usually do this when i spend too long on a mix) it sounds like some of the sounds lack bottom end. the kik might have been carved off the bottom end may be leave in more 60-80hz. 3:08-3:34 is too crazy for me. good track, definatly a style im into!

@jaydot
true ogre; This should be way to dark for me but kinda like it, nice suspensful intro and such. its very horror step but still me likey the blood and gore.
forbidden planet; is quite the banger. some more hi end fx might make it a bit nicer. some grimey industrial machine elf step

@Vacant
This is nice man, its some how chilled ambient but a lil grimey as well. may be bring up that strange vocal sample.
it sounds like it might need a lil room to breeth sometimes. may be take out an element when it drops and bring it in after a few bars. nice different sound!!

@weedkeepa - Nice feel to the track, feel like the drums are really lacking though, see how it sounds when you beef them up abit. other than that it's sound m8 :)

@supermotor - nice track aswell. awsome lead when it gets around half way through. the percussions could maybe use some change up but digin the track.

@phizicist - likein the synthesis in the track, really all i'd do is boost the sub bass a little more to pack that extra punch.

@john-neenan - Nice, def. a sound tune. sound levels are nice, aswell as the synthesis.

@fassyman - Not really my kinda style, but i must say... i kept it playing and i actully was gettin into it :D I felt like a little detective on a hunt for something lmfao... nice tune man :)

@Vacant - Hell of an intro mate, loved those vocals you used. Main thing i spoted was mastering... Right when you had your sub rise, it has some overlap on your drums. try EQing your drums and see if it helps. THere's also a little bit of sidechain throughout the track.

@X HertZ - (First track) - The vocals can get quite repetative but other than that it's a sound tune. nice work :)

@Jaydot - Nice synth work, needs re-mastering though, but i'm gunna guess it's youtube that fucks up the qulity to make your high ends sound like they're clipping. sound tune m8.

(Just my opinions though :oops: )

Looking forward to get some opinions aswell on my new track :)

Here's the feedback as promised:

@ x-hertz: Nice man, I think the vocal could work better on a dnb track but still it's not bad

@ john neenan: Liking this one, the effects give it a nice feel, some solid bassline work there

@ vacant: Sounds a little harsh on the high end from my noobish observation of freqencies; I think some EQing work would improve this track, solid enough though, digging it

@MrKaza: Nice synth sounds, good the way they seem to fit in on bar, so that there's a little pause bewteen each new wobble sound just after the snare. Maybe throw in some more effects just for atmosphere but liking the samples. Nice1

re: my track, it probably is clipping a little I mixed on crappy headphones at like 2am so haven't played the full track on my speakers yet. :lol:

UR EFFIN' COOL MAN :7:

- jaydot: im on not too big speakers , but your kick sounds like it's too weak of a sort, just not sticking out of your bassline. Also your bassline sounds like it's too low pitched, it gets that odd type of distortion on it when stuff is too low pitched (thats what im hearing) also abit more variety in your basslines/sounds wouldn't hurt :) The rest sounds good, snare especially caught my attention, it's nice and crisp. Imo there's still some work on this one but it's heading the right way

- Kaza : i LOVED that high pitched voice sayin 'yeah ur the fuckin man' :lol: :lol: the rest is top production, good variation of bass sounds to keep stuff interesting. maybe as jaydot said fill those pauses with something more , a soft background melody of some sort.

- Vacant : i enjoyed this, im not sure what to think about your more distorted bassline because i'm not on good speakers atm, i'll listen to it again when im on a better soundsystem. Progression of the track is really good and i liked the teasing drop :)

- john neeman : except for your amen breaks i'd do more with the percussion aspect of your tune. The rest sounds very very very good :) Downlink style if you ask me

- fassyman: it's a good tune, but im kinda lacking a real vibe , what oldskool stuff is all about mainly . Then again i'm not on sub speakers so there just might be a sub in there that pulls the whole thing :lol:

- phizicist : well i liked the intro, perhaps stuff sound too loud at points but what mainly the problem is, when your drop comes it seems you lost all sense of structure , i find the bassline and all the effects very confusing and im not getting in that vibe you created with your intro. Your second drop on the other hand is way better , bassline flows well with all your samples. basicly i like your intro , and then the part from 1.40 and on

I decided to work abit more on my latest, mixed it properly (i think, not fully sure of it though...) :

noizy parka wrote:ez... some good sounds in there, quite slow and lumbering :D

It feels like a mixture of aspects you like, im not a massive fan of the bass you got in there and with the melodys and such would perhaps look to switch that up a bit, the bass feels like a banger bass on a slow tune, would perhaps try and fit it in more

Good work though
