Is that really that common?
Then again my mind says drugs = psytrance or disco house.
You liked Taiko Riddim... did that make you feel like you were on drugs? It makes me feel like this is time for a tribal ceremony, not drugs...
haha maybe i should elaborate a bit here instead of going for a soundbite
what i mean is that the stuff i really love seems to have a psychological effect on me, sort of like a drug since i've taken this external device, put it in me, and now i feel different. A really great musician in the right moment can have me cracking up laughing, or on the verge of tears, or locked in some sort of complete trance... or something. Sometimes people can make tunes that do this to me despite being riddled with mistakes, or having been kind of muddy or underproduced, or even completely out of key... sometimes the idea is just so good it doesn't matter. And if someone can do that, that's a sign of genius to me
i can't remember taiko riddim at the mo, and i couldnt find it again... but i probably really liked it because i'm a sucka for taiko drums and rhythmically lead music generally. good beats are inherently hypnotic so yeah if i could hear it loud it'd probably be like being on some something a bit!
