How can you just assume who and what i search on google, shows how smart you are, Im not some kind of retard :? so what if i enjoy the filthy stuff, doesn't mean i know jack about any other kind (which in fact i do) i just don't tend to talk about things im not into, make sense? :o

Theres alot of influence from Juke and also Gabba aswell though. Folk was more where Dubstep took its structure from, also not forgetting Funky which influences alot of the older DMZ stuff.

Youve got to remember that Dubstep is a very broad genre with alot of influences, recently Burial wrote in an interview that he took alot of early influence from Funtcase when his alias was DJ Dose. Their new Juke collab is out on Swamp 81 early next year. Should be interesting!
i read somewhere that tunnidge cites his main influence as dj sammy
exactly! and everyone knows kode 9 is/was a huge Scooter fan

And skiffle. Don't forget skiffle.

Hatcha and Plasticman were rinsing out Tommy Steele dubs before certain members of this forum were born yesterday.

I heard that Kode 9 dedicated his final mixdown of 9 Samurai to the musical influences of PaRappa the Rapper.
