You can see that Excision has talent because he doesnt just do that robo step stuff but also has an amazing ear for music. he only makes his typical well known tunes to keep his canadian fans happy, if they love it he will keep making them sort of tunes just like Datsik. But deep down he does make some sick tracks like Too Late which just shows hes not just robowobble

Whoa, sick update! Still like that girl more though :e: it was one of those tunes I overplayed and can only listen to on occasions. I def. need to update myself though. There's just so... much... performance filler to sift through

Yo I'd never heard these deeper bits from Excision. New found respect to him for producing them. Any more in that style that he's produced?

I actually LOVED reading this thread. After all the shit that is heaped onto Excision and the like, the moment he is even slightly linked to Loefah (on twitter as well... c'mon son) this forum gets a hard on for him. Disclaimer: If you so wish, go read my older posts, I have liked Excision for sometime now.

obvious is an amazing tune by excision, i hope/wish he is still making tunes like that, i dont know why he would be doing the more monotone type stuff hes been on now if hes done something so fun and interesting like the track 'obvious'

excision takes everything that i like about metal, hip-hop and bass music and puts it together brilliantly in every track he has ever done. that's nothing something many dubstep producers can do and he is definitely the first to do so to that degree.

Reading this thread is really funny... are there honestly that many people on here that just thought excision was a one dimensional hack? regardless of whether you like his more mainstream tearout stuff, it should be pretty obvious to anyone with an ear that he's a very talented sound designer, and it's only logical to assume that someone with that level of discipline and skill would be able (if he chose) to produce some really great work in other styles.

Just cuz someone makes some ridiculously aggressive tunes, you just assume that that's all they can do?! Making crazy tearout shit and playing it out to big crowds is fun as hell, but that doesn't mean you don't also make more creative/experimental/deep/intelligent/whatever tunes...

(at the risk of obnoxiously pimping my own music) for example:

Just wanted to point out he was 7 years old when the tune came out.

I'd gather someone could find a classic tune you were unaware of when you were 7 years old.

by the time he was 14 years old dillinja was well fucking terrible
