@jaydot - I like it's direction and the mood of it, though I feel it could use harder sounding drums. The synth I feel needs some minor tweaking, and sometimes I kind of lose track of the song with its sequencing :/ but other than the bad, keep it up :D

@Sirius - Loving that snare :D I think the kick sounds too electronic/quick to match up with the snare, however. Maybe you could try sampling an acoustic kick and trim it up and make it sound low and dirty ;]

@dubsax outlaw - Amazing track. Excellent use of Logic's built in sounds; the way they're used just makes it that much more badass. Keep it up!

Here's a hip hop track I made called "Hexed"; I don't normally make hiphop but I'm getting into it :D

as i promised here is my feedback for a selectah few.

@phoxache
fuckin banging filth there man. specially love that guitar riff that pops in every now n then. production wise, not bad. well done bruv

@wirez
nice start with the pads and all. like those drums at the intro, making my head bounce haha. that first wobble sounds a bit low in the mix, maybe you could push it through with some eq. very chilled. nice switch up 2 mins in. sick piece

@dacks
now thats whut im talkin bout boiii! filthy riddim man, proper banger. maybe smack some more low end on that snare give some punch. i reckon a break down somewhere in the middle wouldnt go a miss.

@cabre
first track, not bad. i was hoping for some of the lower frqs to drop but it just wasnt there. very chilled up top tho.
second track. same as above, more bass needed. maybe thats what you were going for i duno but still good overall. i like those stabs

@jaspervc
nice drop, drums seem to overpower the rest of the track, try mixing them a little lower. crazy noises going on all around me, still nice! bo!

gonna bump this beehotch incase anyone missed

take a listen tell me what u think! cheeeeeers!

Not really my kind of dubstep, as it's got wayyyy too much wobble... HOWEVER - the track is excellently constructed, the production is a fantastic quality. If I could be anywhere near as good as you with my production I will be a very happy man. Great track, good work! :)

@phoxache - generally I quite like what you've done with it. The bassline in particular I really like - very beefy, love it. For some reason the very first part of the intro in the track reminded me of American Woman by Lenny Kravitz (love that track) haha

To everyone else - got some feedback on this track in WIP in August, it's now finished. Check my sig :)

@wabble - Interesting track. I think most importantly is the lack of space in the lead bassline. It needs to be broken up in some points I think in order to give it more weight, as right now it feels like it's just "too much", if that makes sense?

@Voodeedoo, track is pretty much as generic as instrumental hiphop gets, take some risks with your sounds. Really well built but not experimental enough for my tastes i guess. It's preference.

@CircusJam, pretty ill. No feedback for this, except wobblez stay fairly static and my ears would like some 200% dangerous slicey metal wobblez or swellz interspersed at the more intense bits. I would use a waveshaper and automate some filthy damage in on one or two of the wobbles every 16 bars. Although, really, though. Super ill. =D

@Wabble, track needs an identity somehow. maybe a really familiar voice sample or a gimmicky sound effect before the drops and interspersed in the phrases. right now it's just wobbles over breakbeaty dubstep beats and i'm having trouble remembering it 5 seconds after it ended.

Did this one as a hit-back to Jaydot for doing me a remix last week.
Came together pretty quick, not amazing but it was fun. Used probably half of the original.

@amphibian...chill as hell man i like it, a nice melody for sure

@circusjam...amazing dude, that drop is crazy

so here the fourth track that i finished...i've been working on my wobbles lately and i think they came out pretty good in this one, give it a listen and let me know what you think, any fb is appreciated :e:

Streetlite : really feeling it man, nice work on the saw-ish purple bass thing, very ravey! bout 45 seconds in though, Im not feelin the lead with it, not sure why, they just odnt seem to click together, there too seperate sounds to be playing at once, in my opinion, which should be totally disregarded in favor of any creative endeavour you wish to persue! so yeah... mixdowns on point man, and technical standpoint, everythings stellar.

Voodeedoo : right on my vibe man, loving your strings, and the drums are tits. Maybe a little more rumble in the sub end, but sounds great man! if you sent me a 320, id definately give it a rinse or two.

Sirius : great vibe man, work on your mixdowns though, the drums are so low! few twiddles of my eqs and everything sounded great, but get those low-mid perc's up man! dont be afraid of em... whatcha monitoring on? might be your problem :wink:

Two new ones from me guys, neither of them are anything like what I normally do... The first one (Kids on the Tracks) is my attempt at a melodic bit, tryed to aim for spacey-ness as always though... hope you enjoy.

Soundcloud

And this second one is totally experimental... :? ... I wouldnt be able to tell youthe genre if you payed me, and its excruciatingly minimal... vibes though... and definately my new set opener. Beware. This ones wierd as.

Feedback much appreciated guys!

Circusjam/ good production, highs could use a lil trim but its very tidy indeed. Bass notes seem a little random but drop is good and it all fits pretty well. Good job bud

Kind of a minimal tune. Not sure how to critique as it seems more ambient than I usually listen to. I like the sound selection though. Snare is pretty complex I like that.

The vocal stab placements need some work fitting in to the mix better. They just kinda pop out harshly if that makes any sense? The placement seems random and not in a good way musically.

Song structure wise, the sound doesn't really go anywhere. It just kind of stays at a constant level throughout. Not sure if this was intended or just a byproduct of your production. When I listen to a tune I need energy to build and collapse.

Just my 2 cents. Take is as you will.

I like this one a lot. What verb are you using on that snare? Very bright but in a good way.

Default FL Reeverb unit, with a 1 1/2 beat decay time, about 60% reverb, bright setting on the bright warm knob, something like 80 for the room size, little bit of low cut. Put that on a send. Put greasetube or tessla after it to taste... send volume at about 50%, bus send + orignal back together and compress.
