FWD>> last nite

Post by n-type » Fri Feb 17, 2006 11:56 am

i really enjoyed it! Wicked vibe! Hatcha and Gee kept me on my toes all night. The system sounded heavy last nite! I think its had a tuning since last time. shame the monitors were still quite.

BIG NIGHT DOH!! BIG UP ALL WHO REPPED!!!

ITS ALL ABOUT THE 2ND MARCH!!!

Was big, Hatcha ripped it up with the Dubs I reckon, was very good. It was quiet to start, dunno why the volume was so low but during N-Type set it was big, messy bassy tunes.

HATCHA'S LAST TUNE WAS KILLER, PLUS THAT SKREAM TRACK WITH THE FLUTE AND SAXAPHONE STABS IN THE INTRO THEN DROPS INTO SOME CRAZY BASSLINE A BIT LIKE LIGHTENING DUB. IF THAT MAKES SENSE

What do you mean by gnarly? Did he just play really aggro or something?

3/4 of his set was just gnarly dark single-note b-line tunes, which bored me.

to me you gotta be careful with straight dark b-line tunes: people like loefah do them so well you gotta come correct to be able to both engage the head and the feet.
