No offense gang, but were I to own a label I would not want you guys as my A&R people. I checked out about 15 names dropped in this thread and not a single one really spoke to me. They all suffer from sounding generic, simple to the point of amateurism, or downright terrible. Over half of these artists sound the same. making dubstep isn't a game, its art.
I realize the hypocrisy of my statement and you will think "where are your tunes?". I appreciate art, there is very little art in this thread. I don't need to make it myself to see that. Sentinels was the only near decent artist posted in this thread.

kultron has got a point there... No diss, but personally i think "up n coming" means someone who has something more than fruity loops and a soundcloud account. Gigs or releases (proper ones) coming, tunes played on radio etc maybe..? Ez.

thanks deadly and guys, happy to see my generic hack music spoke enough to someone to get on one of these lists!! even though i was totally treating dubstep like some sort of a game while i wrote it all.
here's a bunch of other upcoming artless trash that i'm really into right now: wAgAwAgA, Duskky, Autopilot, Bird of Prey, j-One, legend4ry

You think kingdom, vvv, damu and LHF are generic?
Wow
Would love to see what you consider original

Atm I think of Pariah (very nice releases the last time), Niveau Zero (check his Electronic Explorations mix and his new album !), Egoless (every track is a winner) and Swarms (wow, so much unreleased goodness).
And more settled I want to mention Dj Madd.
Deep sea, Big fish !

Wow, nice thread, i'm into a few of the deeper artists mentioned
Can't stress enough how much you need to check out this guy 'Bridge'... He got played on Distances show last week (Rinse Fm) in the 'up and coming' section (which now seems quite appropriate

) I'l link you to his stuff below

Tis deep btw...

I'm curious, which names specifically you find generic on the first page's list?
Also, what producers do you consider original?
