MACARONI CHEESE + PESTO?

I have genuinely never had pesto that also had cheese in it.

And for the later years of my adolescent life I would eat pasta and pesto 3/4 times a week.

So you've never actually had Pesto then. One of the main ingredients of Pesto is parmigiano-reggiano or pecorino cheese.

I'll check my little jar of pesto when I get back to the house. Pretty sure its just basil garlic and olive oil but we shall see.
