Go with whatever floats your boat man don't let anyone put you off with their red faced smilies or whatever.

Reso
Bar 9
Rob Sparx
Some of Skreams more recent stuff
Coki

You might like some of these

Then if you want to mover onto more serious stuff
have a look at:
Vex'd
Distance
Benga
Pinch
Milanese

These are the more metally based producers (just guessing thats where you're coming from)

Anyway in my opinion Vex'd makes filthy dubstep, Borgore shits oatmeal and some people consider it music. But just go with the flow, I got into dubstep through hyped/mediocre productions but eventually you'll get to the good stuff. The right podcasts really help too.

Listen to Rinse FM in the evenings, standardly. Namely Plastician, N-Type and the Skream & Benga show. Give you a proper experience of the full spectrum of dubstep from the minimal-sub driven stuff to the dancefloor bangers. Make up your own mind from there

another couple of formula...

[2000F & J Kamata - You Don't Know What Love Is + decent lookin' lady = almost certain sexy time]

[Starkey - Neck Snap + spliff + alcoholic drinky poo = slow motion]

Go to Youtube and type dubstep. Use the results as a basis of producers you should avoid.

Borgore makes dubstep. It could be described as filthy because that how you feel once you've listened to it. ;) Seriously tho' Borgore is one of many artists that make heavy 'jump up' dubstep.

Goto You tube and do a search on Trolley Snatcha...

There's also good dubstep but with a totally different kinda sound by artists such a Ramadanman, Appleblim, Burial <--- search on You tube.

Do another you tube search for Skull Disco Records <---

check this mix, its all dub/ roots/ reggae dubstep a Dj could play for 10,000 people ez.

Electro doesnt mean Electronic Dance Music man. Electro is its own genre, just like dnb is, or dubstep is, or techno is... dont use it that way. say electronic. Because electro isnt an abreviation for it.
