The second installment of Vira is almost ready to release.

This time the viral vessel comes with bleeps and bass of mexican producer and DJ, Kupa.

“Bit Pairat” is the name of Kupa´s first album, which contains 13 tracks of 8bit bass music, dubstep, ambient and covers of classic tracks like Sleepwalk, Bloody Tears (castlevania) and Monkey Island’s Theme.

Bit Pairat is the soundtrack of a fictitious videogame, each track of the album is referred to each level of an 8bit videogame which tells a story about pirates on a caribbean version of cyberspace. Graphic art with pixelart technique is being created to ilustrate the world firstly described with sound.

Some of the tracks contained in the album were released before on pirat music blogs as a distribution experiment with great ressults.

If you are one of those persons which grew up with 8bit videogames and likes bass music, this album is a must.

Bit pairat will be released on october 15th as a free net audio release.In the meantime you can listen a promo with snippets of all the tracks of the album.
