Noticed this too, real nice subtle touch of nostalgia.

Some really good bits, the overall storyline seems poor to me though. The good directing and subtle funny bits will keep me watching though i imagine.

Where were the bullies on the bikes though?! The main one and his sidekick were the highlights of last week!

I hope the script isnt this obvious but have a feeling they will be back and I have a feeling Shaun or the gang will stand up to them, it will kick off and lessons will be learnt.

I wonder why the other 2 skinhead kids from the film arent in it, one left with Woody after Combo gave them the ultimatum.

I also wonder how the gang are now friends with Harvey, the boy who gets beaten by his dad in the series. He was the one Shaun has a fight with at school in the film after he makes the joke about his dad. When Shaun meets Woody in the tunnel for the first time he mentions he is upset because he had a fight with Harvey and Woody asks who he is and puts on posh voice taking the piss out of Harveys name.

Oh, and Kelly was looking hot again...

I've really enjoyed this so far. Good acting, plenty of funny moments, and looks like it might pack a heavy emotional punch (wtf is Lol playin at! hate that shit :x )

Plus although its all written by Meadows, only final 2 are actually directed by Meadows so i'm expectin more out of these (cos i'm a massive SM Fanboooooyyy!)

Last episode tonight... :(

Last weeks rape scene was a bit grim (well I lost interest after I came) but the fight was jokes. The leader of the bike gang certainly has a strong jaw on him.

I thought the grim outweighed the laughs so I stopped watching halfway through episode 2.

could definitely tell the first 2 weren't directed by him. last one was directed much better, it's been ok so far bit predictable though.

Pretty much agreed then.

+s
Kelly
The two rudeboy bullies
Milky's awful acting
The likelihood of seeing the dad character getting KOd by Stephen Graham

-s
That 'Smell' girl's cheeks, and the fact she is called 'smell'
EVERYONE's haircuts

And the shopkeeper who Shaun works for. Is he not the guy who he repeatedly called a filthy paki in the film? Maybe that's easy to forgive I don't know. The Harvey story is weird too.

anyone explain why combo's henchman, the guy with the moustache and mohican thing, is all friends with them? wasn't he laughing while combo was beating the shit out of milky in the first film?

and why is that harvey guy who shaun had a fight with in the film at the start, in with them as well?

some things really don't add up in this program....

plus, i've never known a close knit friendship group of late teenagers/early 20 year olds who hang around with 40 - 50 year old men
