when you get them, A/B both speakers with a mono signal and see if there is any difference. If there is even the slightest hint that they sound a little different Id send them back tbh, if not, wouldnt worry about it.

if they're a reputable company they'll do what it takes to make you happy
a quick call to the manufacturer will let you know if they are an authorized dealer

Just wanted to say it's such a shame as these are really great monitors (providing your not desperate for great bass response). Hope they at least sound fine man.

Can't really bitch about mods as me and Sharm' can't ban people only lock/edit posts and threads. We have to send PMs of spam bots to other mods.

heres the last email i got. i think i might just send em back and get another pair from another store

Sam I am really sorry for all this and please understand that this is all on Samson and I will be speaking with them today. We don’t EVER sell products that are used, refurbed, b-stock, etc without letting the customer know exactly what they are purchasing. From what you are telling me, I assume that Samson repackaged these and sold them to me as new. I am pretty pissed off at them right now.

I can do a couple things for you:

1. You can return them for a full refund or an upgrade
2. I can give you a $25 store credit to use on another purchase

I would offer to just have Samson replace them but since they are discontinued this can’t happen.

Again, I am so sorry for this but please don’t let this reflect normal business at Front End Audio. Let me know what you would like to do but I will take care of you and make sure you are happy.

Subject: RE: samson monitors

Was this the original box? Im asking because the serial numbers on the box are 6A6G000351 and 352 while the ones on the monitors are 350 and 333. Shouldn't they be in order and matching to the box? I was also looking at the monitor with the replacement dust cap and I noticed some differences between it and the other one like that it says DS-615 around the outside of the speaker and the font is different on the 2 also some minor ones like the power switch was on on the one and the volume knob was in a different position. Is there any way I can get a slight discount at least considering these are clearly not brand new

An upgrade is the RP5's?

See on their site whats around the same price, anything above what they're selling by 20-30$ should be yours, due to your troubles! I would proper take em for a ride and get the biggest deal I can just be sensible about it innit. Thats the problem with buying online and the reason I only deal with cash and in person! I don't even trust Amazon.

that e-mail is the most unprofessional piece of shit i have seen(i have seen worst lol). when dealing with complaints, you never blame someone eles, and then say that you are "pissed off" with them to.

if i was you i would get my money back , and never deal with them again

That's the thing they probably thought that was a quality reply. Theses places aren't mom and pops that have been around forever these are just kids that are good at the web. It's a shame, it's damn near impossible to tell from the web site. Welcome to the 21st century. Lol. So what they don't make those monitors at all any more? I don't think I would want anything else on the market in that price range. Maybe the hs50m.
