chill out, is it that big a deal at the end of the day. that cd might get some more people into the deeper side of the genre too, as their are some really good tracks on it, which in turn they may buy some more, I see it as a positive thing. I really couldn't give a fuck about the exclusivity of a type of music, its all for everyone imo.AntlionUK wrote:the fuck is the minstry of sound but the worst part of dance music? it's the money making machine arse fucking dance music with it's endless cd's and bullshit! and what has it ever done for dubstep? i had respect for Get Darker releasing theres, shit i even purchased them, because they are working hard to create and nurture the music they love and their tracklisting didn't include 4 fucking doorly remix's!!!!! Minstry are just jumping on the bandwagon with more money behind it so they can chuck it at 14 year olds and say 'look kids buy this and you can look really cool infornt of your mates because you listen to an unknown urban music genre, that'll be £9.99 that most likely won't go to any of the artists and we'll see you in 6 months for the next one with little to almost no change to the tracklisting'Ennayess wrote:why?AntlionUK wrote:this has got a half incredible tracklisting and a half shit one.
the worst problem i have is the minstrey of sound stamp on it, makes my blood boil.

Doesn't that pretty much describe the genre?Lichee wrote:Is that a counter argument to me because surely you're just agreeing with me? I agree, ye you will get loads of idiots thinking they know it all.psylent wrote:Surely though if you enjoy the music, why would you actually care about who listens to what and for what reason ect..Lichee wrote:The thing is you will still know more than them anyway. My mate is proper into Cragga and i think fair play because at least there is someone else with even a remote knowledge of dubstep. It's gay that it's getting big but imagine every dubstep artist stopped releasing music because they don't want anyone apart from themselves listening to it? you would be pissed. This situation isn't too disimilar, you can't stop someone listening to something. In then end, you know more.
It's not hard to just listen to the bits you enjoy and skip listening to artists or tracks you don't like?

They occasionally play this at the gym I go to... the tracklist is utterly fucked, from man like burial, coki, mala, joy orbison, joker to wasters like doorly, doctor p and the mandem....
Dark angel, fall from the heavens above, send me an angel to heal my heart from being in love... After all of the love for you, in my life, but it wasn’t good enough for you, I can’t take no more tears from my eyes.... But it wasn’t good enough for you, I can't take no more hurt from that time....

Re: Uh Oh
To be fair, if my production skills were half way decent and I could make any of the horrible wobbly bass sounds on that album I'd sell out in an instant. Sadly I'm a shit producer lol.

Haha, nah man your sigs pretty cool! I'd maybe layer that snare with another though, sounds a bit "clappy"

I'll just leave this here.
Found it in Morrison's and knew that a picture would come in handy.
Hyph Mngo's on there and there's a Cosmin TRG tune on there and that's it for nice stuff.
