it's fucking sick, i'm gonna rinse this next time i play out.
Re: Skream - Rave Again
Sounds like it was put together in a few minutes. Not too high on the production quality....
it's catchy though, I'll give it that.

It might be a bit simple, but i think it's a pretty solid production. A part of the reason why i love it might be because i came fra d'n'b and jungle...joeki wrote:Sounds like it was put together in a few minutes. Not too high on the production quality....

Re: Skream - Rave Again
Didn't care for it much.
it's alright, but I wouldn't personally put this into a set.
I don't know if it's the amen loop, or the pianos that come in later.
I respect what he's done for dubstep, and I was impressed by some of the tracks from his new album.
just not feeling this one.
It will get a lot of play regardless, just because of his name.
if a lesser-known producer made this, it would get flamed, or passed on.

Re: Skream - Rave Again
"Rave Again" came out as the bonus track on the Japan "Outside The Box".
Also there was "City Lights" (feat.Sam Frank)

Don't really think it is anything special. Just kinda sounds a bit thrown together.
Not bad, but not that interesting.

Re: Skream - Rave Again
yet another burning up/listenin to the records/epic last song clone?
Re: Skream - Rave Again
don't you think he might just be trying to establish another skream "sound"? Also the material on that new album was made in such close succession that its understandably difficult to create multiple jungle/hardcore tunes without similar elements coming through in a particular way.djrobyn wrote:yet another burning up/listenin to the records/epic last song clone?

Both this and 'Under The City Lights' are available on UK iTunes now... you just need to search for 'Outside The Box' and pick the version that was released on 22nd September on Tempa / Hydra, you can buy both tracks seperately fortunately.
Re: Skream - Rave Again
I find it interesting that in order to move forward, Skream is looking backward.
