Looking for some dubstep appropriate sound effects...

I'm really big on using sound effects (i.e. sweeps, impacts, reverse crashes) to help end measures, transitions, and add more atmospheric content to a track. Although I tweak the samples, I can't help but feel that I may be reusing a lot of them. It also doesn't help that I'm using Vengeance Club Essentials (vol. 1-3), Vengeance Minimal House, and a Zenhiser pack (which are all dance music oriented) for dubstep tracks.

I can make them work most of the time but I'm looking for something new which may be much more fitting for dubstep. Can anybody suggest any resources, or maybe even a sample pack which may have what I'm looking for?

I've considered that, but, I'd imagine I'd have a lot of learning to do, because I don't know the first thing about synthesizing my own effects... I am unsure if I even have the correct tools to do it.

Loopmasters have some of the best sample packs for Dubstep.
The packs contain fx and building blocks.
Alternately they also stock just fx packs.
Imo the Dubstep packs are all you need.

And they`re at the correct tempo.

i like making sound effects out of random samples, anything...time stretch/pitch up/pitch down/play with effects on sends/experiment basically.

I would suggest the vengeance sample pack. They got a bunch of sweeps (long, medium,short), atmosphere fx, hits, and many more. You can download them somewhere or pay. These also have tons of hard kicks and drum samples. Honestly my favorite pack ever. Super big sounds. You can doctor all the sounds to get your own unique sounds. I've heard all the biggest producers using these packs (datsik blatantly uses them all the time.

dude, sweeps and risers and sound fx are so fun to make, and easy. just employ anything from a simple envelope to all kinds of envelope and lfo trickery and you can get all manner of wacky sounds, and quickly.

Let`s all just get back into the realm of reality.
Everyone uses samples.

It`s all about how you use them.
Amon Tobin sure as hell uses his samples in a totally different way to everyone else, but samples none-the-less.
It`s all elitist BS in the end.
If the music is good then who cares what tools were used.

Someone posted a video of a guy playing an instrument he had put together from guitar pickups, his table, piano keys, etc.
I thought how bloody cool was that.
But nooooo, the haters all appeared and said he just did this and this and this, what a waste.
In the end he was creating cool music and you can`t fault him for that.
Why is it that the moment someone shows interest in music production, every hater has to jump in and give him 10000 reasons why he sucks.
Everyone started somewhere.
I agree that music production is about experimentation and discovering how to create sounds with synths, but that doesn`t mean it`s the only way of creating music.
Part of experimentation is utilizing all the resources available to you.

Constructive is one thing but just plain destructive helps no-one.
