EZ
I've been geeking out on this too much over this past week, but it was a learning experience and a nice break from making tunes. Now I need to get back to composing... I started this synth from the getting started manual, but have since then extrapolated ideas and techniques from other synths and tutorials.

I have added a bit more to my synth (it's nothing mindblowing, but trying to build it from semi-scratch, I've had a few moments like this :u: ) :

1. Sine wave added to osc 1
2. Noise oscillator added
3. New mixer macro built
4. LFO module built and sent to amp, osc1 and osc2
5. Pitch Bend added
6. Oscilliscope added
7. Colors changed in GUI (it sucks you can't change the font colors, that was a bit oversight in the design department)

I will post up an ensemble soon. I wanted to create a few more patches with it and maybe build another ensemble with effects (or build the effects into the synth). I've already gotten some nice sounds with this synth (basic analog shit, but still sounding cool especially with the effects).

Anyone else have any ensembles to share?

i also got it as part of the Komplete 5 deal last year but sat down to have a play this week and virtually all the ensembles ive dled crash it instantly. :(

got a support ticket out at NI, but apparently they take weeks to get back :x Also posted a thread on the reaktor forum.

Any ideas? Crashes standalone and vst in cubase 5.

Well looking forward to getting into it, its deep beyond beleif, theres so much even in the basic library.

Cheers Pedro for ensembles.

Spencertron/Pure Phase uses a custom ensemble for a live setup, check youtube. Baddass!

Reaktor seems bad ass but to be honest if I were to buy somethin, it would be max for live since thats the daw that I'm using and it seems to have better workflow and streamlined integration..

I use it, every sound and every single noise on every tune I've ever made is generated via reaktor...everything...including the drum hits and espescially the edits when I decide to do edits. if there's something I want to make I.e a sound, I can get it using reaktor...I'm no expert programmer but if i want the reaktor instrument/effect/synth to do summat else...it will do it, because I'll make sure it has the feature that I've thought of adding provided I can get it working in good time. I use it to dj with also. it's not flawless software but Its the only thing I use, obsessed with it for quite a few years. I don't think I can be arsed to learn anything else.

Despite havin gigabytes of reaktor synths/samplers/beatmakers/mashers/effects etc I tend to use the same 3 over and over.

I wish I'd have started with Reaktor in a way. I think it an amazing programme but atm I don't have the time to get as deep into it as I'd like.

Lucky. Man I love my girl, but I don't get time to myself now that I'm living with her.
It's not even that bullshit "I wanna go out, hang out with my friends, go to the strip club" kind of whining...
I just wanna have time to produce and play with my DAWs!

I'm working with Reason now, and I've used reaktor before and effing love it. I really want to buy it, but I just don't have any application for it... Yet. Plan to get Cubase. After that, Reaktor is up.

Now I need money...

If you get the kore2 player, NI give you user name.

Thought some people might find that helpful.
