spirit absolute zeros

Post by Luke Baewer » Sat Oct 09, 2010 3:40 am

i have just recently purchased a pair of absolute zeros...wondering how im going to set these up. they come equipped with banana jack inputs in the back, they came with two separate banana jack inputs with bare wire at the ends. Can anyone tell me what im going to need and how im going to set this up?

It depends on what the source is going to be for the speakers. Are you going to use them as studio monitors and run them from your audio interface? If so then most audio interfaces use 1/4", XLR, or RCA.

yes i will use them as studio monitors. So i can just get two banana plugs to 1/4? i know my interface takes 1/4 for a fact. but this will work? thank you for the response btw.

are those passive or what? all the reviews i'm seeing online of them aren't exactly flattering to put it nicely
and yes you'd need a banana to whatever end your interface uses (seriously who puts banana jacks on "studio" monitors) :u:
