Nice one. I would love if you could go more in depth the mixing part is what I got the most out of that is where I lack knowledge big timeDepone wrote:Nice one. Re: Dubstep Production video tutorials episode 1
Depone - thank you so much for these videos, they have helped me to no end! I now completely understand what busses/sends are for (whereas before I was a little confused as to why you'd use it). The example using parallel compression is fantastic, and the tip for having the same reverb is invaluable.
Will you be doing any tutorials on how you did the intro? Intros I find for myself to be one of the hardest things, and I love the kind of dark feel it has.
Kudos to you man, big up!
PS: definitely deeper! I think you covered most of the basics in those first few vids

Re: Dubstep Production video tutorials episode 1
Thanks man. Big ups. I think im going to delve deeper in my next vid, into splitting bass frequencies etc... I write my intros around the main bit of the track btw... i used to start with an intro, but now i make the best bit first then work around that making intros mid breaks etc....amphibian wrote:Depone - thank you so much for these videos, they have helped me to no end! Just watched all the videos, really helpful stuff man. Much better than the majority of 'masterclass' videos. Covered alot of ground in a very concise way, looking forward to more detail in the next video
