Werden uns die Jungs von der SNUFF CREW im August mal eben einfach so wegschnupfen? Wird das mysteriöse Duo seine Identität jemals preisgeben? Hinter welchen Masken werden sie ihre Gesichter wohl bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen verbergen? Ist die Oldschool die neue Newschool? Fragen über Fragen aber eins ist klar - bei den COMPOST BLACK LABEL SESSIONS im August geht’s natürlich wie immer um HOUSE und unabhängig davon, wie die Antworten zu obigen Fragen auch immer ausfallen werden – die SNUFF CREW steht für jackin’ HOUSE wie er in den achtzigern von CHICAGO aus die Welt eroberte. Das ist reduziert, da fiepts und zwitscherts, da schnalzen die Snares und die schwingenden Basslines sind ganz weit vorne – Bodymusic, die im Gegensatz zur Identität ihrer Schöpfer nicht lange im Verborgenen blieb. 2008 gab die SNUFF CREW ihr Debut mit der GOD EP auf MARCO PASSARANI’S Label NATURE, gefolgt von gefeierten Releases auf PLAYHOUSE, RUSH HOUR und natürlich auf DJ HELL’s GIGOLO Imprint u.a. mit der massiven Maxi BERGHAIN. Den unbändigen (oder bayrisch: umbandigen) creativen Flow der beiden unterstreichen auch deren Remixes - u.a. für STEFANO E BENE’s Italodiscoschieber WHY YOUR LOVE auf unserem brandneuen Outlet COMPOST DISCO. Vor kurzem haben die Jungs mit dem eigenen Vinyllabel SNUFF TRAX sogar noch einen draufgelegt – one to watch out for. Doch zurück in den Club - die SNUFF CREW wird für uns Live performen, was die beiden übrigens auch regelmäßig im Berghain tun und im Anschluss gibt’s dann quasi die Kür in Form eines DJ-Sets.

strangely when i listen to most of the links here i think it's awesome, same goes for minimal stuff like extrawelt or max cooper or kollektiv turmstraße, but the shit they played at that night was beyond awful. it was like one song played for hours on repeat :?

nope, i'm 18. it was hard enough to get into this shitty club we went to. i suppose in berghain they play quality shit, not tons of songs with the same 1-bar bassline on repeat for hours. :roll:
