I got this on 7" promo from the legendary Red Bird label. Still in its original red cardboard sleeve.

I've been listening to a lot of Massive Attack recently and 90's edm bands like Lamb/Aloof/Agent Provocatuer etc ooo and Hayling by FC Kahuna has been on almost daily in the mornings.

Lamb 'Gorecki' is in my top 5 of all time, it's stunningly beautiful.

My Bloody Valentine & Slowdive

two of the UK's finest band of musicians if you ask me. That's about as mainstream as my music taste goes. And yeah, Tool of course (have it all on big shiny vinyl that)

There is something about Queen though, the song arrangements are genius. Very powerful and emotiv music.

They made magnificent songs, spun tales and composed bloody grand stage pieces! They were all ridiculously clever you know, Brian May had a PhD in cosmic space matter :o

I still prefer Led Zeppelin though

If we're on musical geniuses I have to nominate Phil Spector- flawed genius but, really miles ahead of his time

Agreed Phil Spector is a badman.

George Martin has to be mentioned if we're going down this route and Ray Manzerek too. Oh and last but by no means least Buddy Guy!
