But yea. Blocks is going in fl 10 anyway :(
And hence why I wont be updating.
really? just because of that? the other way is essentially the same as blocks, except for the fact that you can see what's inside each block (plus countless other benefits). I can't really think of a reason not to use the blocks, other than the fact that they look a bit tidier.

CTRL + Shift + C 8)

And being able to see 2 little dots in an otherwise transparent brick isnt a selling point for me when Im trying to work on drums, idk.

IDK, its always been somehting I said I liked about FL, the two views.

I like the two views as well. i normally use both (blocks for neatness), but if blocks were to be removed, to be honest, it wouldn't bother me much

Little things like playlist views and everything being windowed/repositionable keep me in FL vs. Logic's new Windows incarnation...

While we're on the subject of the playlist, in FL7 I could timestretch an audio clip simply by dragging it to the desired length and resampling a required. I'm now on FL9 and dragging it does not stretch the sample which is very annoying. Any idea how I can change it so it does?

click on the clip once and you will see inthe top left of the playlist there is a little circle hat says stretch next to it. click on that and then it will sretch the clip
