Cymatic - Electric Church / Jungle Fever - Box Clever 003

Post by thinking » Wed Oct 20, 2010 4:57 pm

It's my great pleasure to announce the first release from production super-power Cymatic, comprised of well-known dubstep beatsmiths Ruckspin & Quantum Soul, and hot new D&B producers Octane & DLR.

Their first record is out now on Box Clever, featuring two seriously deep tunes:

This will be the last release from the label in 2010 but there will be much more to come from Box Clever and Cymatic in the new year.

Been caning both of these. Jungle Fever is one of my favorite tracks of 2010, some tribal boogie

Electric Church sounds like Kryptic Minds smoking brown. In a very good way. But Jungle Fever is the one... those xylophone type sounds are amazing.

Thanks to ThinKing and everyone behind Box Clever/Black Box for your belief in these tunes, it's good to know they are finally seeing a release and people can vibe off them as much as we did making them! And thanks to all the supporters of this project so far.

It's really interesting to see the spectrum of views people have towards these tunes, and it's good to know they cause a reaction one way or another. They weren't intended to be divisive, just soulful - something which might stand the test of time - but I guess there are always gonna be divisive issues ;)
