AC23 dropped Hit me with your rhythm stick by Ian Dury and the blockheads a few weeks ago. He was so blazed though, I think he thought it was Chestboxing. Probably don't remember that do you Steve?

Classic!! i was playing some rave at a farm a few year back following on from a dj playing the dirtiest of dirty dnb...the drugged up crowd were foaming at the mouths and had rage in their eyes....i stepped up with my bag of early dubstep and garage/grime slightly panicing...started with red hot car and everyone went CRAZY and were really into the change in pace after that.

Big tune, doesn't sound out of place at all within a dubstep set...infact with the way things are going if it was released today i bet it would be seen as a dubstep track...(?)

I swear Kode 9 played the whisper song at one DMZ too lol

I want to hear wu tang and mobb deep dropped at a dubstep night on a fat rig. I'd shit myself, I promise.[/quote]

he surely did, he played the whisper song instrumental after 'Sign of the Times' at DMZ. He also ended with some weird track that night, cant remember what it was...

Witness Dub remix is a great opener too... Vex'D 'Fire' Blood 1 remix is a wicked track for fuckin with people's heads...
Also a lot of the Danny Breaks bits from his Alphabet Zoo EPs are lovely, Foreign Beggars too and some Dilla beats too.
