No, I don't agree. I'm a bassnectar fan and that shit sucks. 2/7 tracks are decent the rest are shit. Timestretch and Cozza Frenzy are loads better.

I agree. I think "Falling" is a pretty decent track, but other than that there's not much. Falling would not even have been in the top 5 best in his other recent albums. He might be slipping a bit, although I guess that's what happens when you spend the majority of your time as an artist on tour. Whatever.

Despite a mediocre release, I still have great faith in the guy. He's a true innovator, and force in the Bass community. I just hope his fame doesn't get to his head too much. He's already set the bar really high for himself, and it would be a shame if he can't make it up there again.

How is it that Bassnectar is the most well known name in dubstep :?

Even his own fans are starting to realize how bad he is.

Im a bassnectar fan and I just saw him in orlando and he was amazing......."Hot Right Now" and "Wildstyle Method" are great jams, also i liked the way he had some tracks that were more intense than usual and then had some lyrical songs aswell on Wildstyle.

OP you are insanely mistaken my friend.
Wildstyle is a terrible release, he is slipping.

Not to mention that 808 song feels like a complete rip from matty g.

and his vocal sampling hits an all time cheese level with 'Hot right now'.

Nectar needs to chill out in his hive and get back to making the earthly beats from cozza, mesmerizing the ultra, and earlier.

that's just me tho

Fair enough, I definetly cant argue that Cozza Frenzy and Timestretch are better albums but i really do like the way like that he has changed his style up from almost any other album or EP that he has done......Mad props

Terrible release, Bassnectar has taken a turn for the worse, even looking at some of his upcoming shows, (see: "First Bass Center") I think he has lost the vibe and the music that made him great 3-4 years ago... Lose the hype and go back to what makes your music... music.

Bassnectar has fallen off completely. He has gone from producing awesome, bass laden, tripped out break beats, to awful, generic sounding mid-range 'dub-step'. On New Years eve, 10 months from now he put on one of the best musical performances I have witnessed, yet recently in LA at Audiostistic, his set stood out as being one of the worst. Lorin can you please stop letting the fame get to you, step off your high-horse, and stop catering to the bro-step massive. I know you still have it within you to create music that will stand the test of time.

He had arguably the best performance of anyone at Ultra 2010 (although I didn't see Skream to my growing dismay).

saw him last year, he killed it. Even played 30 minutes of all his chill ass beats in a row (the best part).

Saw him this summer and it was sooo much worse, and i was even more fked up at that point.

he is heading south. Wildstyle is garbage
