For this years Halloween session Deadly Rhythm welcome a trio of the hottest acts around right now. DMZ and Swamp 81 boss Loefah heads up the bill. Though his own production has been limited of late his forward thinking A&R'ing for Swamp 81 has brought us some of the biggest records of the year (Ramdanman's ''Work Them'' and Addison Groove's ''Footcrab'' amongst others) so expect a set full of future classics. We also welcome Darkstar back to Deadly Rhythm, this time for a full live show. They are on the brink of releasing their debut LP North on Hyperdub and anyone who heard Kode 9 preview some of the material on Mary Anne Hobbs last Radio One show will know that it promises to be pretty special. Another stand out album of the year came courtesy of Brixton based producer Actress who also features tonight. His Honest Jons record was a brilliant blend of hazy house, techno and more London based sounds and his DJ sets build upon these varied and wide ranging influences. Ex Spacek producer and future Hyperdub star Morgan Zarate completes the bill alongside Leon (whose EP is planned for release on Deadly Rhythm before the end of the year) and the Deadly Rhythm residents.
