Now THIS I really agree with....
ruckus49 wrote:i actually think cookie monsta is better than coki (maybe not "better" but at least more fun to listen to)
THIS however is the most utter crap I've ever heard XD coki > funtcase > cookie monsta

cookie monsta is one of the worst producers/musicians I've ever heard in my life. I find his tunes impossible to listen to, some of them sound like the shit that gets posted in the feedback threads by people who have been producing for two weeks..

Have to say I was surprised when I read that. I admit I'll enjoy dropping a cookie monsta track occasionally and love the energy it'll bring.
But I have him sorted away with Chrispy in my head... Don't have a whole lotta respect for either of 'em.

Haters gonna hate. Funtcase is not one of my favorite producers, but I do have a lot of respect for him, and I do love his style.

rofl @ the idea of cookie monsta being better than coki.

some opinions are better off not being expressed.

this forum makes me laugh.

I'm not a big fan of funtcase, wouldn't say I hate him either though there are MUCH better 'brostep' producers out there (I really like DotorPs older stuff, flux pavillion, sukh knight etc) but yeah he is unquestionably dubstep though. FlyLo and Burial??? they are both amazing but they aint dubstep. Burial I guess is on the fence but has always seemed more garage to me and especially in todays climate I'd say he's now been adopted by the so called 'future garage' crowd.

I'd call Burial dubstep since most of his tunes do have a nice amount of bass. Whether he's garage or dubstep doesn't really matter though, especially since dubstep draws a lot of influence from garage anyways. Flylo has done some dubsteppish things (Glendale Galleria on Tectonic Plates)

if you dislike flying lotus' music you must not have ears, and i'm not just saying that because it's my personal taste but being on the production side of the forum i assume you take some interest in the actual production of music and flying lotus has some mad skills when comes to that
