Which films do you dig from different countries to your own?

I like French, Mexican, Austro-German, Danish, Spanish and South African films.....

Like La Haine, Irreversible, Amelie, Amoros Perros, Funny Games, the Idiots, City of God, Y Tu Mama Tambien, and Tsotsi.

Me too, but I don't think anyone should stick to Hollywood movies for example. There's some amazing cinema out there from all over.

Been watching a load old samurai movies recently... Samurai Rebellion..Kill! etc.

The misses hasn't seen many of Pedro Almodovars films so we've watched 'Talk to her' and 'women on the verge of a nervous break down'

She made me watch 'Whip it' last night......Hhhh

I like a lot of films from the US and a few from UK. France is a really good filmcountry too.
I saw a production from Mongolia a few months ago which was more than decent.

Dutch movies are good though, too bad the language keeps a lot of foreign viewers away.

Thailand makes some great kung fu flicks. I recommend Chocolate. Complete with production bloopers

good is good, no matter where like others said. i love foreign films. i hate remakes that only change the language (and gender - Let Me In). i just watched Mesrine part 1 and 2. gangster is gangster, but this man was no gangster. he doesn't deserve a short film and he got a 4 hour epic. the film was sloppy as it was, but i kept wondering why nobody just shot him in the head a few good times - and way earlier! ;p
