hahah, nah. I wish. It's our first official commercial release, so we're still pretty pleased that we're on the CD either way. We've released an album online for free, but its completely independent, underground, and... best of all... free
here's one of the more popular songs on the album (the rest of the album is on soundcloud too):
Soundcloud

you can get our album in one zipped package in 320kbps high-quality mp3 w/ the album artwork done by graffiti artist friend here:

not being funny, but what kind of label doesn't pay their artists and calls a compilation CD of mostly unknown producers ''Lordz of Dubstep''?

who released this? Foul Play?

Just to clear things up, most independant labels hardly make anything on physical sales, nowadays labels concerntrate on releasing music digitally onto iTunes which this compilation (and others we have released in the past) are NOT on. We use the releases to promote the artists and of course, us as DJs.

We also run www.hhbradio.com which incurs high running costs for server space. Its a 24-7 radio station which will soon be specialising in Dubstep music from around the globe on assigned days.

As for the title.. Well I think its pretty good actually...!

Respect for all the artists that have contributed to the movement!

in defense of the label, it really is true that artists generally make very little money from record sales anyways, so even if they did pay us, it'd be pretty meaningless dough... on the other hand, it would be nice...

but I consider the free advertising and the new fans that will result from this release payment enough. it's not like i do any of this for the money anyways... that's why I go to the good ol' university! it's love for the underground arts that drive us... love for the bass!!! love for the dubstep shows!!!! love for the beat!!! love for the wobble!!!
