im a former dancer

i do not have perfect pitch but i do have a quite good rhythmical ear... that may be because im partly from africa... (psych)...

ive produced soul oriented rap beats for about 10 years... detroitish style and have mangled with 808s and 909s for quite some time too (the samples that is)

i was an avid crate digger for more then 10 years, focusing mainly on hip hopish jazz soul and funk samples

i have an extensive musical knowledge in genres such as rap, funk, soul, blues, jazz (the earlier stuff)

i know the mpc 3000 inside out in a sampling from vinyl context...

i get better and better at mixing although im really not perfect.... this board has helped me a lot.

im really obsessed by the less is more principle

i do a bit of fm synthesis.. getting better at it day after day

i play blues guitar mixed in with some jazz... i can play slap guitar (as in slap bass on a guitar)

i pick up instruments really fast

i procrastinate a lot but im the type to learn my gear inside and out.

im french-speaking + self taught english so sorry

i have sever tinnitus.. be careful

Na but truthfully.... If i could call it an expertise, it would be playing the guitar and bass guitar. The rest is just hints and trickery I've picked up here.

Except I did work the ins and outs of Reason for years, so I reckon i could say Reason. I'm not the baddest producer on it, but if you asked me how to get something done in Reason, I probably wouldn't be spending any time wondering how, or searching for features.

have a good sense of rhythm and people tell me i can sing (which i don't believe, i never sing unless i'm drunk. and then it's only swing and jazz 8).
production wise... mostly i'm somewhere between horrible and "normal" but i think i'm really good at doing ambiences. at least i was when i had logic -q-

i guess in all honesty i'm not traditionally trained in anything save from some drum lessons back when and keyboard elective in high school.
all self taught and dedicated to finding the answers and knowledge to the questions i have and to hone my craft and keep constantly learning.
that and i'm really good with technology and finding workarounds when something doesn't already exist.

Yeah, the urban dictionary offers up two definitions, neither of which make much sense... Belgium's best hamburgers and/or ecstasy...

Neither of which I wanna be dipping in tea...
