Drum & Synth sample CD recommendation?
Afteroon all, I'm new here...
So after spending the last 2 years wallowing in a fetid pool of self pity and dark, dark dreams of impending doom, I decided I should really think about getting back into producing.
Anyway, I had a good look through the stickies and there's some really good info there on free samples etc.
I love sourcing my own hits, stabs, creating patches etc, but I like to also have a healthy 'core' sound library that I'll usualy buy first. Can you guys recommend specific sample cd(s) that would give me a good core dubstep armoury - mainly drum hits and synth patches (for synths, either ones that come as sample instruments for NN-XT, Kontakt etc or if they are patches, ones for the Reason synths).
There are a load out there that look relevant so I thought I would use your collective experience instead of trusting short audio clips and salesment write ups.
peace and porridge

The most commonly used on here will be the Vengeance packs. For freebies it's worth checking out music tech magazines as they come loaded with them every month. Normally the best 'dubstep' samples are the ones labelled as other genres, from what i've found the dubstep specific ones are complete cack.

Anyway, even if you do, it would be cool to here what you recommend!
Help me out people. It will be returned in kind when my evil synth monster shit takes over the western world and you wished you'd helped a simple newbie out.

Oh and agreed on the 'normal' thing, but sometines trying to be dfinfert for the sake of being dnerfifet is also bad, so I like to have a comfort zone that I can move outside of, but refer back to and warp. Either that or just copy everyone and get right on the band wagon... my concious is clean [pants are not though]
more suggestions?

Dude, some of the credit card affilate schemes are stupid, very competitive market but christ on a bike do they pay! Not sure it's very ethical to push credit on people so I've never done it.
Anyway, back to samples...
Anyway, back to samples...
