lol fuck you
i swear no luck on my reg map yet
i should up it in it's current state for you to see if you can find any
also should be noted exploring virgin caves late at night in a pitch black room while listening to lovecraft audio books is a brilliant idea
Just use a mapping program? I know on mac, there's a mapper called MCMap Live that lets you pinpoint the location of any block type in your world.
cartograph is as far as i'll go for mapping where i've explored
using a mapper to pinpoint a block type just seems lame and to defeat the purpose of exploring a sandbox world[/quote]
The only thing I've contemplated using it for is finding monster spawns. I'v dropped 30+ hours into this game without finding one and it's quite frustrating.

Do one normal scan for mossy cobblestone, do another with just cave setting, then one normal normal.
Put altogether in your image editor, change opacity and highlight the dungeon pass, now you have a schematic of all caves and treasure dungeons.
ala:
Yeah the red parts are dungeons.

if youre gonna do all that you might as well just hack yourself 64 diamonds and obsidian and just in a glass fortress by yourself...
seriously i dont understand why anyone uses mapping or hacks, it makes the game fairly pointless

But then i wouldnt have the pleasure of going down and fighting them bastards in the dungeons, it would take the fun out of it alot. Im only locating the goods. Not spawning nothing. Seriously, skele-dungeons were the best fun since the Halloween update.

only come across a spider spawner so far, and now it's a string spawner

cartographer is great to see how big your creations are getting and the scope of how far you've explored

we should get a dsf collective map going kinda like broville
just start a save someone gets it for a set period of time, pass to next in queue and so on
that way when smp is finally bug free we can have a lil town and development going already
