I find girls seem to like dubstep more than other broken beat genres. It's sexy. Still majority male tho by far.

Given I work for Kano and Plan B at 679 that's a pretty childish comment. Suck your mum, is that what I should say back?

Quite frankly there's a lack of women in grime and dubstep because of pricks like you. Constantly being called groupies or having to 'prove' themselves... I've got my degree in journalism and I've got to a point in my career where people like you and your petty comments, however grating, mean little when I look at my bank balance and get support from people who actually matter.

big shout out to one of the first and biggest dubstep soldiers that doesn't get nearly enough credit for flying the photographic/journalistic flag for this scene from day one.

Something about this strikes an off note with me.

Very little of the copy you generate, Chantelle, has even the vaguest resemblance to journalism. You hype scenes and artists, generating a buzz which translates into bookings and record sales, off the back of which you get more work. You're part of the value chain. That, to me, is PR - not journalism.

So, when you come on here attacking ordinary punters for expressing their (admittedly stupid and crude) views and bigging up your own bank balance, it seems to me like someone who has made money out of the scene is taking the piss out of someone who helped her make that money.

If you're big enough that you don't need to care about this stuff, prove it: shut up.
