Aka Joshua Steele, is marching ahead of his contemporaries as a producer and co-founder of Circus Records which he started with long-time mate, and last month’s guest, Doctor P. His remix of massive anthem ‘Sweet Shop’ makes the original cower in the corner and he’s applied these skills to Fresh’s ‘Gold Dust’ and Freestylers ‘Cracks’ firming him up as the in-demand remixer of the moment.
Lines In Wax EP is without doubt a future classic with ‘I Can’t Stop’ making Radio 1’s playlist, and the highly energetic ‘Lines In Wax’, featuring Foreign Beggars, with distorted bass and vocals, and a variety in sound not often seen in dubstep. Flux’s distinctive bass heavy yet evocative style will keep him at forefront of electronic dance music helping to push Circus and dubstep into evermore exciting regions.
